<Voice Activity 8 (Presentation Reflection)>
I used LinoIt for my final presentation because my main character likes things that aren’t too complicated and easy to understand. If things don’t go as he planned, he is in panic and has to rely to somebody. Since LinoIt is very organized and is able to pin important things, I assume that my character would feel comfortable and safe of all his things.
By working on this final presentation, I learned how to make good connections and was able to analyze many different literacy works in using a particular voice. In order to do this, I used many different pictures and important quotes that very much related to my core character. Also, by choosing the appropriate words lead me to convey my character’s unique voice; right choice of diction. My main character does not use complicated words; rather simple but very articulated words. This made me realize that the character is not the kind of person who likes to make things sound all fancy; rather expressed directly. I also used several details which helped me to be more descriptive. Like for speeches and poems, I included important quotes that my character might’ve liked. This helped me think beyond his ‘general’ voice, but also his secret and hidden voice too. I think I deserve a 4 because I have really described my character’s voice clearly by using many examples of diction and details.
Feed back: Cami I loved your presentation! Since you used several details and diction, it felt like I have actually met Charlie in real life. It was really easy for me to understand your character’s voice since your analysis items were so related to him. The part I really liked was when you played his favorite song. It was also really touching how you described his depressing and lonely life. Definitely a 4!

Hi Jane. I think that you did a great job on your project. It looked good and I think that I really showed me how your character thought and acted. The detail, syntax and diction sounded like what a troubled person around that age would sound like. It really gave me a good Idea of how a recovering drug addict might feel. Good job.
Jane Park- Jane I really like your presentation it is AWSOME!! All of those colors, I felt like I was on drugs looking at all those colors! Haha, Anyway I liked how you used the voice components to describe your core charecters voice. Your presentation was VERY well done you deserve a four!
Intrest- Jane i liked the way you desribed your characters voice with the Syntax, Diction, and Details. Syntax with the long words, Diction with the words he used and details with the way he described everything.
